Newcomer's Ministry

For those new to our parish community, we welcome you! As a newly registered parishioner, you will receive information about current parish ministries and events. We want to get to know you, as you are now a part of our parish family. Please let us know how we can best serve your needs. We also welcome your gifts of time and talent.

Quarterly potluck dinners offer an opportunity for newcomers and established parishioners to meet and enjoy fellowship. A short program offers information about the parish, its ministries, and opportunities for sharing your gifts.

For more information about specific dates and activities, contact the Parish Office.

Communion to the Homebound

If you are unable to attend Mass and wish to receive the Eucharist, please contact the Parish Office.

Legion of Mary

What is it?
The largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church with well over 2 million active members in most every country of the world. It has been approved by the last six Popes and was endorsed by the Second Vatican Council.

What does it do?
It makes its members better Catholics, first of all through a balanced program of prayer and service in union with the Holy Spirit as He operates through Mary, Mother of the Church. It is a way for baptized Catholics to put their baptism into action.

How does it work?
Members meet together once a week for prayer, planning and discussion in a family setting; they do a couple of hours of assigned work each week in pairs and under the guidance of a Spiritual Director.

Who can belong?
By being a guest at a meeting. You are invited to Come and See the Legion from the inside. And you can go as a guest on one of the work assignments with an experienced member. What you need is a willingness to sacrifice a little of your time and energy for the greatest reason in the world: your love of God and desire to build up the Kingdom of God.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are lay persons who, through training, learn skills and develop their gifts for bringing Christ’s healing love to people who are lonely, grieving, strangers, new parents, ill, homebound, or experiencing other stresses in life. Our members are caring, giving persons who reach out a supporting hand to the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of our community.

The Stephen Ministry training program will prepare interested men and women of any age to become Stephen Ministers, equipping them to care for the many needs in our parish.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

This is a worldwide group ministering to the poor and needy. Vencentians offer food, assistance and resources to those in need. Volunteers interview individuals to assess their needs as the helping hands of Christ.

Grief Ministry

This organization supports the bereaved through individual contacts following the death of a loved one. In addition, this ministry coordinates a twice monthly grief support group, facilitated in conjunction with Hospice of Kitsap County.

St. Anne’s Mom’s Group

This group meets regularly to provide social and spiritual support for mothers and caregivers of children of all ages.
